Social distancing during COVID, with lots of time for reflection at the MOM site in St. Pete.
My name is Connie B. I came to the Museum of Motherhood Residency in 2020 to ponder my future and explore my dreams and desires as a human, artist, and woman. As the mother of two grown sons, I’ve devoted many years to being a wife and a caregiver. Now, it’s time for me to explore “me”.
By stepping away from old patterns, I am learning to embrace new aspects of myself. While I don’t know exactly what’s next, I have discovered that I love being a gypsy, I have adored my time in Florida, and I will definitely be back to visit MOM in the future. I’m taking more peace, deeper connection, and a feeling of joy with me as I move ahead. I’m grateful for my experience at MOM and I’ve forged some wonderful new connections in St. Pete.
