Don’t Laugh (2024) London Science Gallery, London, UK

Commissioned by the 3rd International Oxytocin Festival, Don’t Laugh is a multidisciplinary work that integrates live performance, soundscape, installation, and sculpture. At the heart of the piece are the lived experiences of mothers from seven different countries, who were interviewed and gave explicit consent to have sculptural representations of their breasts created. These intimate forms are woven into a powerful collective narrative that confronts the hostility and digital violence often directed at women who breastfeed online.
