PLAY WITH US
The Mothership is the centerpiece of the MoM’s new “Sea Us Grow” world floating above a brand-new play space for children ages 0–6 & their grown-ups! This interactive space celebrates the diversity of family life beneath the waves.
Kids can scale the Mothership climbing structure, while exploring the ‘Sea Us Grow‘ world below with curious creatures, sensory-rich zones and cozy coral climbing nooks.
‘Sea Us Grow‘ blends play with purpose in a space that invites young explorers to imagine, and discover how families of all kinds live & care for one another. COME PLAY WITH US! Opening August 2025. Play is always FREE at MoM during regular hours.

Pre-postnatal fitness! Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday 7, 8, 9, 10 AM. Contact ‘Pink’ for all your strengthening needs and questions. Saturday classes are starting soon. LouAnne is passionate about helping moms understand how their bodies work and helping them access fitness that is made for them and their pre-and postpartum needs. Come as often as you can. ‘MoM’s Escape Womb Experience‘ is designed to delight visitors with clues and puzzles about the nuances of conception, gestation and birth in a fun and informative environment. This health, wellness and education adventure is a-first-of-its-kind in the world. Open to people age 18 and above (younger with an accompanying parent or guardian) by advance reservation. Tickets can be through our website for up to six people at a time. The Escape Womb is open for adventures – with your pre-paid ticket – during regular business hours or by special appt. BUY TICKETS. Sarah is a multidisciplinary, British artist, working freely across 2D, 3D and time-based media. She reflects on life’s cycles: birth, grief and personal transformation, questioning ideas of permanence and exploring the in-between spaces of change. She seeks to reassert maternal narratives often marginalized in cultural and political discourse.
During her time at MoM, she will be onsite periodically working and creating in the space.

BRUNCH AND MINI-CONFERENCE with MoM. The purpose of this mini conference is to collaborate with local birth workers and healthcare professionals to understand the causes and correlates of challenges to Black women’s maternal health in order to implement changes in Pinellas county. The Museum of Motherhood partners with FloridaRAMA, organized by Jill M. Wood and the Health, Wellness, and Education Committee. This conference will educate attendees about Black maternal health from a holistic perspective using the expertise of multiple presenters. REGISTER

WHO: Raisa Nosova, muralist and fine artist is an Adjunct Professor, NYU, MFA, Studio Art, NYU, graduate Urban Glass in Brooklyn, NY and solo exhibitionist; Theodore Art Gallery, New York, WSE Gallery, NY, Interior Spaces, Paris, etc. Raisa Nosova has created murals in Milan, Italy, Manhattan, Jersey City and Brooklyn to name a few. Raisa has been exploring the topics of nostalgia, interruption and destruction in her work. Although known as a painter, Raisa’s recent experience of becoming a mother have pushed her to dive off into new disciplines such as glass sculpture and performance art. This is Me – Whole Girl Summer Camp; A Body Education Program for Learning, Growing, and Thriving From the Inside Out. This camp balances empowerment with body-knowledge, appealing to 12–16-year-old girls by emphasizing confidence, familiarity, and control over their own health.Each day has a theme, a mix of interactive activities, reflection, and safe space discussions. Women in the Arts – First Thursday each month on IG LIVE at 5PM (EST) with Martha Joy Rose and a special guest women in the arts features. Look for Museum of Motherhood on IG for important conversations and content on mothers as makers. What is a mother artist? A m/other artist is someone whose work is impacted by or focused on experiences of pregnancy, birth, care-work, adoption, loss, fertility, fostering, surrogacy, inclusive of all. This includes artistic interpretations highlighting the lifespan of makers of maternal experience, action, matrescence, and embodiment within personal and relationally organized emotions, biologies, technologies and behaviors.

MaMaPaLooZa May 4th at The Factory St. Pete! Mom is partnering with The Fairgrounds to present Mamapalooza: A Celebration of Mom! To show our love for m/others and their families, we are welcoming the community to a free event that celebrates moms and provides moments of reflection and engagement. April 17 6-7:30 PM – What is Black Maternal Health Week? In celebration of Black Maternal Health Week Doula Courtney West, owner of 3 Gems Birth Services, partner, with MoM Empowerment Facilitator Sierra Clark to have an open discussion on how empowerment effects black maternal health. Many times we hear disturbing numbers of maternal mortality and morbidity in the Black community. We don’t always hear the ways to make change in this area. During this 90 minute conversation we will address some of the current concerns around birth in the US, talk about the practicalities of birth, and why awareness around black maternal health is essential.
