Chia-Ning Yeh is an interdisciplinary artist based in Taipei and London, currently studying an MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Her practice centers on non-binary storytelling, speculative imaginaries, intimacy, and posthumanism. Most works are with sculpture, moving image, and participatory workshops to explore neglected or unlikely connections in daily life, and how relational structures are formed and sustained, often engaging with materials that change over time and collaborative processes that unfold collectively.
Through material experimentation and workshop-based methods, she reflects on the shifting boundaries between human and non-human relations. Instagram: j_ning_1126

In this experimental film, the concept of the “cyborg” is expanded beyond mechanical prosthetics to include softer, subtler synthetic materials that can influence human emotions and memories. Through video and installation, the work explores whether intimate relationships can be reshaped or even redefined by chemical substances in a highly technologized future, potentially forming new kinship networks. As part of this exploration, an Oxytocin product was purchased from a supermarket in the U.S., and friends were interviewed about their physiological responses, positive and negative emotions, and the impacts of the substance on their romantic relationships. They also shared their reflections and considered alternative possibilities by comparing these experiences to the process of testing medication.
