Library Partnership

Beginning September 1, 2025 MoM is pleased to partner with the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative for discounted access to the Escape Womb Experience onsite at the Museum of Motherhood.

The Library Museum Pass Program is a service of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) that gives Pinellas County residents the opportunity to visit local museums for free, simply by borrowing a museum pass from their library.

Our valuable museum partners benefit through the added promotion from PPLC and our Member Libraries. These benefits include increased traffic to your museum, revenue from gift shop sales, and raised awareness of your museum within the community.

Libraries benefit by offering our patrons free museum experiences that many are not aware of, or in some cases, not able to afford.

This is how the Museum Pass works:

  • Passes will be available at all PPLC Member Libraries. Five total passes will be available for checkout countywide.
  • Passes are available for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. They cannot be put on hold for future use. The availability of passes can be found by searching the PPLC online catalog or by contacting a PPLC Member Library.
  • The Museum of Motherhood pass will include a 50% off promo code for the Escape Womb experience.
  • Passes are checked out in person at a local PPLC Member Library service desk. Patrons will be given a printed receipt showing the checkout of a Museum Pass and will provide the promo code.
  • The patron presents the printed receipt from the library to the museum staff upon entry.
  • The museum will retain the receipt, collect data on number of entries and report data to PPLC monthly.
  • A single admission is valid for up to 2 adults, and 3 children under the age of 18, from the same household.
  • There is a checkout limit of one pass per family. Passes must be checked out by adult cardholders.
  • Passes are valid for one visit within a 7-day loan period. They may not be renewed.

PPLC works closely with participating museums to coordinate the Museum Pass Program, and PPLC assumes following responsibilities:

  • Printing, cataloging, and distributing the Museum Passes to Member Libraries.
  • Creating, printing, and distributing promotional posters to Member Libraries.
  • Promoting the partnership widely via the PPLC website and social media accounts.
  • Promoting additional museum exhibits, services, or programs.

As a partner, the museum’s responsibilities include:

  • Providing PPLC an official logo to aid in the promotion of the Museum Pass Program.
  • Collecting numbers of individuals using Museum Passes and providing these numbers to PPLC on a monthly basis.
  • If available, providing promotional materials to be distributed in our Member Libraries.
